The world that our students are growing up in is a lot more technologically advanced then when today's adults grew up. With this increase in technology comes many potential downfalls that can harm our children. This course is designed to help us stay current with today's technology and help us help our children make good decisions in this modern world. This class will touch upon topics such as: digital footprints, parental control systems, social networking sites, as well as other current topics.
This course is appropriate for both general education and special education teachers of students in grades K-12 and is worth 3 graduate level professional development credits through University of Massachusetts Global.
