Revision of written work is often taught as one of the steps of writing, but what if revision is viewed as a subject that can be taught? In this course, teachers will learn and practice practical information and solid ideas to model and for students to experiment with to create a share language of revision. Teachers will learn how to promote student ownership of conferences and generate a genuine enthusiasm for revision. Hint: flexibility and playfulness- is key as students develop their own distinctive revising styles.
